With MECU Money Movement, just log in to easily transfer funds between your credit union accounts and accounts at other financial institutions. You can even transfer funds electronically to someone else’s account at another financial institution.

If you can access your MECU account online, you can use Money Movement to conveniently transfer funds with complete peace of mind. It’s fast. Secure. And costs considerably less than a wire transfer.

Charges

  • $5 to transfer funds the next business day (incoming and outgoing)
  • Free to transfer funds in 2-3 business days (incoming and outgoing)
  • Transactions must be performed before 4 p.m. CT for the next-business day service*
  • Any charges are deducted from the source account

Limits

  • Standard: Up to $15,000 of inbound and $15,000 outbound transfers daily. Up to $25,000 inbound and $25,000 outbound transfers monthly.
  • Next-Business Day: Up to $2,000 inbound and $2,000 outbound transfers daily. Up to $10,000 inbound and $10,000 of outbound transfers monthly.

* To be eligible for the next day service, your account must meet the following conditions: 1. You must be in good standing with your financial institution. 2. You must not have any non-sufficient funds experience in the previous three months from the registration date of the funds transfer service with your financial institution. 3. You must not have had any negative experience with MECU using Money Movement. Negative experience includes, without limitation, NSF, account closed (debit only), authorization revoked by customer, payment stopped, customer advises not authorized, account holder deceased, beneficiary deceased, and account frozen. 4. To be eligible for the next day service, the non-host account to which you are transferring money is required to make a successful inbound transfer of $500 to your account at least 60 days prior to the date of a next day request to that non-host account. 5. For an inbound transaction, your account must have a minimum available balance of $750. 6. For an outbound transaction, your account must have a minimum available balance of $750 after adjusting for the current transaction. Current transactions shall include all transfers that are open and have not been released by MECU.

select “Service My Accounts” and
then “Move money between
