To close your certificate of deposit without penalty, you will need to wait until the maturity date. MECU will send you a letter approximately two weeks prior to the maturity date. Your funds can be transferred to your MECU checking or MECU savings account, or we can mail a check to you. Please contact MECU at the number below with your request.
