What happens to my certificate when it matures?

A certificate maturity notice will be mailed to you approximately 21 days before the maturity date. Certificates will automatically renew on the maturity date at the prevailing rate, and for the same term, unless you instruct us otherwise by phone (1.847-576-5199 or toll-free 1-877-270-6392) or in writing. You will have 10 calendar days from the maturity date to provide MECU with your instructions, without being charged an early withdrawal penalty.
