What are the various closing costs involved to finance my home?

Question / Answer

What are the various closing costs involved to finance my home?

Closing costs for mortgages vary and include, but are not limited to: points, taxes, settlement fees, appraisal fees, title fees and escrow, and various kinds of applicable insurance including flood or hazard insurance.  These fees can vary according to the location and loan amount of the mortgage.  The payment of these fees are incurred by the buyer/borrower and the seller in a real estate of mortgage transaction.
